🙏 this posts reminds me of my favourite Christopher Marlowe quote: “But what are kings when regiment is gone, but perfect shadows in a sunshine day? I know not, but of this I am assured: Death ends all and I can die but once. Come, sweet Death, and with thine fingers close mine eyes and if I shall live, let me forget myself.”
