What is a chapbook? A chapter books? A book with chaps? Asking for a me.

I also read that post about being a product because you shared it on Notes, but I was gonna comment that it seemed out of character (ironically, out of brand? ) to amplify the post; that it would be unlikely for some of us to connect with it. And here we are.

A chap book is a shorter collection 30 ish, sometimes less, poems. This i did not know: "The term "chapbook" comes from the word "chapman," which refers to the traveling peddlers who sold these small books" yeah sorry about the amplification, -- I had interactions with other stack authors where the general vibe was the drop desire to make new stacks. It seems to me the small substacks are being drowned by this kind of robotic, MLM success thing. But it could just be me, the time of year, the phase of life, the angle of the moon, so I was letting it infuse the posting, as I was struggling to pick up the pace, not necessarily to make more money, but as a motivation game. I saw a comedian the other day, complaining how it is no longer cool to diet, and one now needs to diet without mentioning it or asking for support. It seems, writing is becoming a little like that, partially because of the social media vibe Substack is increasingly becoming
