You're invisible when you sit

Sitting today — I was reminded of Bill Burroughs’s game — “And I mentioned an exercise of seeing everyone on the street, subway, etcetera before he or she sees you” — Although — he only hints at the fact they can’t see you if you see them first @ the link — there are some other great “games”

I’ve told you before — I’m sure you remember — how when I first started sitting people would walk by me without noticing

It’s always fun to speculate why that happens — even if it’s distracting from the purpose of the exercise — which is what one of my mentors always asked me to identify

These similar pictures were taken in various corners of the world — can you tell where they’re from? — A friend once asked me — Certainly, The Absolute cannot be the same for everyone? — To which I reply — Can you tell where these pictures are from?

I thought the groundhog might come up as I was sitting — And they did a couple of minutes before I was done — I wanted to snap a before/after picture — but when I finished the arm closest to the phone developed a peculiar crawling sensation

I discovered a large black spider crawling up my arm ready to make a web — after the instinctual due diligence of — Ah ew ew ew ew away away away — the groundhog was gone
