not what was planned or thought
about, a little piece on why so many
seem to be addicted to recovery
after getting too much of something
something, since our culture
believes in starvation 
death and pestilence
unless you inherent
protection 

Noblesse Oblige
the unenforceable 
blood contract
because your 
ancestors did
something
something

to the weaker
with something
something, blunt
sharp or pointed

Or the mercies
of the nouveau riche
who do something
something to us all
in real time, unseen
and even celebrated

we fight for the scraps
the something, something
left behind, blind to the 

machinations, exploitations
told it’s the something. something
natural order, a brutal fact
hidden by language’s glamour

Something, something caught
us up, too many rabbit holes
not enough time and we aren’t
sure when we’ll get back to it

It’s always, something, something
isn’t it?
