Tracy's Birthday

8/22/2022 Up at camp - Possible flashing beyond (here)

This morning — I reacted to this harmless fellow — crawling up my leg while drinking coffee

Followed immediately by a suicidal moth — plunging into my coffee

I went to get another cup and found this creature guarding my coffee stash

Tracy doesn’t have these encounters since she doesn’t drink coffee or rely on caffeine — preferring to be awoken simply with/by/on water

Today — as the Adirondacks catches up on an abnormally dry summer — it’s as if — everything is saying “Wake up Tracy! Happy Birthday!”
