The sense of Spring

I remember the swagger, way back @ 1.1 (eleven.1)

Even in the depths of it, when we look closely, we can see it is a facade,

with pink and

white blooms, ready to burst out,

to hop forward,

become a boat on a harbor,

a place to walk on the beach.

If I can’t believe a year ago this was my life,

Why believe any stories I’m telling about now.
