A rough and ready kind of poetry 4/29/2023, Con/Jur/d We must beg forgiveness for the fits and starts, the forward and back, the self at the center a societal construction, a cultural concrete, to fill in the Gap, so we have more to say to each other than, “Wow” Instructed not to apologize and defend a chimera from the past, we see how it is how it covers everything, a naked armor like Basho’s cuckoo that destroys Kyoto with teeth, Godzilla would envy Or those moments between waking and sleeping where we become nameless placeless, empty without Beginning or end. The Essential Haiku: Versions of Basho, Buson, & Issa (Essential Poets) Paperback – August 1, 1995 by Robert Hass (Editor, Translator) Basho: Even in Kyoto— hearing the cuckoo's cry— I long for Kyoto.

Much love,
