Due to the ever-articulate — my favorite pagan writer — Rhyd Wildermuth — there has been a burst of new members into our weird-cohort — so Sunday Sundries will partially forgo its usual sleep detox and spend a moment talking about — What’s going on around here?

In the 80s — at one of the reimagined acid rites where the 20 or so congregants knelt before the high priest who would issue the sacrament by looking into your eyes with his madly dilated pupils and issue one drop or 3 depending on the structural solidity of your soul — and then take a drop of LSD25 for himself

BTW I’m not outing anyone from the psychedelic closet — If you consider the laws governing cellular regenerations — that was at least 4 bodies ago

After everyone was seen to — the paints and crayons issued — the walls were walked through — the declaration on the porch of ‘the boredom of immortality’ — the requisite drum circle and the madness had descended upon us all — we ended up in a housemates room who was out on a date and the gathered began to ask me questions

This was my first experience of Oracular Trance — although by no means the last — as these things go — I have no memory of what was said — but more and more people crowded into the tiny Buffalo bedroom seemingly receptive — the joy I felt was delicious and dangerous

The housemate arrived home to find the house swarming with chemically deviated persons and his bedroom overflowing — wading through the undulating fields of contact trips — He calls out “What’s going on here?” — And I answer — breaking the immediacy of knowing without understanding — “I have no idea”

A message that if taken seriously — will reap rewards through the rest of our lives — whether future — past or now

The purpose for us — at least today — is to make Latvian Juice
