Belatedly making my way through the gate(less). A beautiful collection of photos. "History of..."? I'm wondering what ...? But the state of unknowing is deliciously good for practice. I miss smoking too.
To clarify - since an old friend asked -- I do allow myself to smoke on holidays -- and switch back to nicotine lozenges when it's over -- wanting to remove nicotine entirely from my life, currently -- As a member of the anti-quitting league -- I always want the 'options' ;-)
I smoked two ciggies on a holiday to South Africa. Didn't do a lot for me... it's the 'idea' rather than the reality that appeals, and long long conditioning of course. In the UK I gather twenty cigs cost $11 approx. In Belize about one-third of that?
In Belize less than $5 US. O, don't get me wrong, part of the reason I do it - is a hard reminder - this is no longer for me - the sore throat, the dysfunctional esophageal motility, yet there is still some joy;-) Or rather, a steady reminder, to drop all pretense and just smoke (aka Be) ;-)
