Going back far enough — you’ll find us running — putting one foot on the gate and hurling ourselves into the Zone between our ‘property’ and the rest of the made-up borders

I can scarcely believe the past wasn’t made-up — this couldn’t happen?

I think
you think
I thought
you thought
we lived in a cursed
corner of the cosmos

And I was right, correct
our faithfulness kept us
confined, the older we get
the more survivors guilt we
accrue between me & you

Trapped?
How simple it is 
to walk away, smile
acknowledge what absolute
bullshit this doggerel is

A cursed corner of the cosmos
without poetics, without form
even reaching for death
is pedantic, pedestrian, banal
flat, give it up

giving it up,
finally free
curse be broken
the simple joy of you
the joy of me without 

definition, demarcation
thoughts or 
sentimentalized
words.
