Some of her favorite things

occasionally, we see a lonely man
seated on a chair he brings from home
quietly talking, quietly looking
picking up the Powerpuff figurine
putting it back, picking up another

What landscape does he behold?

What host gathers -- pressed against
the indiscernible barrier -- a crowd
slumping his shoulders

Despite this, they
are impeccably friendly
asking us 
how we’re doing
and what kind of day
we’re having.

Black Elephant is going through some growing pains — They are consolidating putting multiple hosts on a single parade, allowing hosts a bit of flexibility, and importantly creating a bit of stability for Pachyderms who want a regular and predictable parade — It looks like I’ll be a host on Tuesday’s Beach Walk at 1900 GMT or 3 PM EST or Noon PST. I’ll talk to them about doing a more work-friendly Black Elephant for those of us in the USA — we really, really need Black Elephants;-)
