7/29/2022 Even now, with everything that has transpired, we remember

Got a new daemon today — from the Pixel lineage — I envy my few friends who have not made a bargain with the unholy host — I can honestly say: We wouldn’t be here today without them

I decided to forego the cemetery on today’s walk — testing out the better ‘lens’ — my neighbors seem to be good at revealing their secret faces in the gardens they keep

There is another layer of meaning here — at the end of this short road is a secret path into the cemetery — kept up by the kind of people who like to drink among the graves at night — my kind of people — I don’t do it because I don’t want to run into them

It’s not them — it’s me — I don’t like their taste in liquor — or leaving the bottles behind for someone else to clean up — It would have been different if I found them as an offering to the ancestors rather than as trash on the back 40

What I’m saying is if you pay attention secrets are easily revealed — the “realism of a larger reality” is always present — As Rhyd Wildermuth eloquently says in today’s missive:
