Everything has felt tenuous lately — acute — not the usual Anthropocene chronic tenuousness
Sitting this morning — we kept falling into the see-through Buddha’s chest flame
We’ve developed tendentious or maybe bursitis — our stability is threatened
WE KEEP BEING REMINDED
WAS HOPING FOR MORE — WE DIDN’T GET LOST
GET LOST IN YOUR OWN LIFE
LOOKING DOWN — TELLS US WHERE WE ARE
WHERE WE’VE BEEN — WHERE WE’RE GOING
WE WERE GOING TO SAY SOMETHING ABOUT THE PAIN CURRENTLY IN THE WORLD — IF YOU DON’T ALREADY KNOW — WHO ARE WE TO TELL YOU
Despite the pain we’re in — the young doctor blames it on our age — there are things we must do to close down the boat — so we’ll see y’all later — after we’ve let the season into our bones
Hoping for a good story this season.
Thinking of ya Youngster!
