We’re under a severe thunderstorm watch — an approaching rumble

Of course, these days, there always seems to be an approaching rumble — WTF?

in the same muddy fields of formlessness
with the beakers,  burners, test tubes, redoubts
alembics and soxhlet extractors, distillates and 
accelerants, catalysts and solvents

on this tiny, spinning, irregular ball, space
without end in all directions, including micro and 
macro, inside and out, temporal endlessnesses
both before and after, and you have the gall
to claim you know what the fuck is going on?
