I feel like I have a lowgrade current running through my limbs — maybe because last night — every time I awoke on the couch last night Einstürzende Neubauten’s The Garden was running through my head — an earworm is best shared:

**The kind of day I used to chain smoke and drink a six-pack — I’m not doing that right now — so I’m not sure what I should do**

The hermit of Lotus Peak [1] took up his staff and showed it to the assembly,saying, "When the old ones [2] reached this point, why didn't they dareto remain here?" The assembly was silent. He himself answered in their stead,saying, "Because that has no power on the Way."Again he said, "After all, how is it?" Once more he himself answered intheir place, saying, "With my staff across my shoulders, and, paying otherpeople no heed, I go straight into the thousand and ten thousand peaks."

Off to try and shake this off!

Great earworm. Wouldn't Blixa B. be okay in the garden, even if it was raining, given that he has a beekeeper hat? I was immensely impressed, while flicking through the inflight 'radio' on a long haul Lufthansa flight, to find they had a couple of Einsturzende Neubaten albums in amongst the oompah bands to give a rounded summary of German musical culture. No Krautrock at all though. Go figure.
