Have any of you noticed the pablum the once proud internet has become? I decided to have some kava this evening — and it was a little strong
It was easy to go down rabbit holes — like trying to find the movie the above quote was from — or trying to identify this bird — Morning Dove or Eagle?
I was dogged at every step — I almost gave up and walked away for the evening — gate(less) and searches filled with brands and clickbait
How silly our virtual lives have become — a constant wailing for attention
Our potential — wasted — Much like flying has been despoiled by greed-centric airlines
I know I’m a hypocrite
I’m sure we all are — raised in the arms of lies — it’s hard not to be
That’s ok — self - aware hypocrites sing the second-best songs

The Best Songs

Of course — Conscious Romantics sing the best

Thanks for spending a bit of your attention on gate(less) — Sing along if you know this one, it goes something like this…

Much love,

pablum! there's a good, useful word, I'll be borrowing that one...

bit generous, I think.

in some virtual places I've frequented I find an awful lot of cud or just plain ol' vomit.

but I suppose all forms of digestion are necessary-- and yes, even rejection...

looks like the peregrine falcon to me!

they visited us on the solstice, and were sitting right in our dogwood!

feels like an omen from our friendly sun.

scares the hell out of the songbirds, of course...

Then there’s my tribe: semi self-aware hypocrites that can’t sing on tune. We resort to rap music.
