6/7/2025 -- NOT NECESSARILY IN THAT ORDER AND CHANGES ARE TO BE ANTICIPATED
PART 9. Pablo Báez of Chrome Hearse Expressas a Harrison Ghazal: words: sodden, spellbound, jawn Sometimes, we push our glasses to the TOP of our head and spend a little too much time looking for them around THE ROOM, in love with the blur That’s JAWN, you say, and I’m like Don’t toss that Philly slang around me like minute beefsteaks, cheese mushroom, onions, spinach and hot peppers JAWN! JAWN! Idiot! Creating an overloaded SODDEN gross cheesesteak, too JAWN wet -- and your foodism reeks of cheap cultural culinary dismissal What do we know? Appropriation committees, been stealing our traditions for years -- chicken wings' were worker food and new to Buffalo when we ate ‘em How old are you? HOW OLD DO YOU FEEL, we’re SPELLBOUND by our AGES, we know this glamour won’t last, wait ‘til it ends and enjoywhatyoucan NOW.

Much love,

“Sometimes, we push our glasses to the TOP of our head and spend a little
too much time looking for them around THE ROOM, in love with the blur”
When I was 7 years old, we (4of my 5 brothers and me) were laying on our living room floor watching “The Virginian”.
My brother Dickie was laying there with his glasses sitting next to him. I put them on, looked around the house for a bit and realized everything was much clearer.
We had Lenten candles burning, which I looked at longer. I took the glasses off and on a few times- viewing the lovely candles. I liked them SO MUCH MORE with my glasses off. I liked the blur so much better.
I told my mom about it when my teacher told her I couldn’t
read the blackboard- about a YEAR later! I loved the blur. Still do. Thank you for the memory.
